After weeks of dropping hints, Wendy’s finally dropped the news. Not only does Wendy’s have ‘Minions & Monsters’ kids’ meal toys launching today, but there is a new Minion menu made for adults, which will include blind box collectibles!

Social media posts

Over the past few weeks, the fast-food chain shared multiple “security footage” style clips on Instagram featuring the phrase “bee-do bee-do” — a recognizable Minion alarm sound — along with warnings about “mischievous activities happening at Wendy’s.” They have also changed their Instagram bio to simply say “In my Minion era.”

Beginning July 1, “Minions & Monsters” will hit theaters with what looks to be an over-the-top animated movie about James the minion, who himself wants to make his own movies. Minion mayhem ensues when real monsters wreak havoc.

The teaser from Wendy’s showed a distorted kitchen security camera feed labeled “Wendy’s Cam,” and featured a blurry yellow figure hidden behind static effects. Fans in the comments immediately began speculating about a Minions collaboration and possible Happy Meal-style kids’ meal toys.

Then, on May 28, 2026, Wendy’s shared what can be considered to be the first look at Minions kids’ meal toys. In this Instagram post below, you can see Minion figures and the caption includes “pocket-sized legends.”

And most recently, an Instagram account named “@whitetigercg” posted a reel unveiling a “Minions & Monsters” Wendy’s Kids’ Meal with a Minion character toy.

There appear to be six different toys available. Four minions are James, Henry, Ed, and Richard. Then the other two toys are Goomi and Dort. Goomi is a new green alien character who appears to serve as the movie’s antagonist, and Dort is an alien robot character from outer space.

One of the biggest reveals from the announcement is Wendy’s first-ever Banana Frosty Swirl. The dessert combines Wendy’s Vanilla Frosty with banana cream sauce for a flavor inspired by the Minions’ well-known love of bananas.

Wendy’s is also debuting two themed Coca-Cola Freestyle beverages: Pineapple Minion MischieFizz and Goomi’s Glimey Lime.

By the way, if you love banana-flavored foods, then check out the flavored popcorn at Universal Orlando.
