Where to meet Asha from ‘Wish’ at Walt Disney World and Disneyland
Guests can now meet Asha from Disney’s “Wish” at Walt Disney World, and will soon be able to meet the new character at Disneyland, just in time for the debut of her film.
As of Nov. 1, 2023, Asha appears daily at Epcot in Walt Disney World. Guests can find her at a gazebo in World Showcase Plaza, the promenade that connects World Showcase to Epcot’s other neighborhoods. Specifically, Asha’s gazebo is directly across from the Disney Traders store.
On her first day, Asha began meeting at 9:30 a.m. and continued intermittently through mid-afternoon (via Scott Gustin). Check the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit for her set times.
Asha’s gazebo was previously occupied by Pluto. With Asha’s arrival, WDWMickeyHunter spotted Pluto at the International Gateway, Epcot’s back entrance.

It’s been a busy season for characters at Epcot. Earlier this fall, Figment the purple dragon returned to the Imagination pavilion; Mickey and Minnie Mouse began greeting guests in special Disney100 platinum outfits inside the lobby of Disney/Pixar Short Film Festival; and Moana arrived outside of her new walk-through attraction, Journey of Water.
Meet Asha at Disneyland Outside Royal Hall
Beginning Nov. 22, 2023 (the day “Wish” debuts in theaters), west-coasters can meet Asha at Disneyland Park.
Asha will appear in the Fantasy Faire area, the small courtyard to the left of Sleeping Beauty Castle (before crossing the drawbridge from Main Street). Here, she will greet guests outside of Royal Hall. Her friend Star will illuminate the area with a magical glow.
Asha Stars in “Wish”
Asha is the protagonist of “Wish,” a new animated musical with songs by Julia Michaels and Benjamin Rice. Oscar winner Ariana DeBose (“West Side Story”) voices Asha. In October, Asha was one of the 543 Disney characters in the short film “Once Upon a Studio,” celebrating 100 years of Disney animation.
Asha will also appear at Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris beginning in late November, though Disney has not announced specifically where or when.
