Magic Kingdom will once again host Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party during the 2024 holiday season. Here’s what to expect at the event.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place after hours at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World near Orlando, Fla. A separately ticketed event from Magic Kingdom’s daytime operations, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party features exclusive live entertainment, character greetings, treats, and more.

2024 dates and tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
2024 event dates:
- Nov. 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, & 29, 2024
- Dec. 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, & 20, 2024
Event hours: 7 p.m. – 12 a.m. (party guests can enter Magic Kingdom at 4 p.m.)
Price: $169-$219, depending on date. This is an increase from 2023’s ticket price range of $159-$199.
Disney offers a $10 discount for Walt Disney World annual passholders and Disney Vacation Club members toward tickets on the event dates of Nov. 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, & 22 and Dec. 1, 3, & 5, 2024.

What’s new in 2024 at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
For 2024, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will debut Santa’s Christmas Carnival in Storybook Circus. The event will also offer new merchandise and new food available for purchase, as well as a recently opened attraction (Tiana’s Bayou Adventure) that happens to be operating during the event.
Most live entertainment offerings at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2024 remain the same as years past. The parade does, however, debut a new soundtrack this year.
Santa’s Christmas Carnival
Storybook Circus, the “Dumbo”-themed neighborhood of Fantasyland at the back of Magic Kingdom, will become Santa’s Christmas Carnival for the first time during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2024.
Visit Storybook Circus as it is transformed into a must-visit holiday destination filled with joyful Christmas cheer, friends from the North Pole — and, of course, Santa Claus.
Walt Disney World
Merchandise
Party guests can purchase an exclusive new mug and Spirit Jersey, the latter of which depicts Mickey and friends in their attire from “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” the party’s longtime live show. These items will be available at the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. and Star Traders in Tomorrowland.
New food
28 food and drink menu items are new for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2024: a hot dog with cranberry sauce at Casey’s Corner, a cherry cold brew coffee in Tomorrowland, and much more. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, new at Magic Kingdom this year, will also be open during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
What’s returning from years past
Parade: “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” (debuted in 2007) at 8:30 & 11 p.m.
(Note: Much of the live entertainment from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is exclusive to party guests until the week between Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. If tradition follows, the Christmas parade, fireworks, and stage show may perform during Magic Kingdom’s regular operating hours that week. Nighttime spectacular: “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” (debuted in 2019) at 10 p.m.
Live shows:
- Party exclusive: “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration” (debuted in 2016) at 7:40, 9:25, 10:35, & 11:55 p.m.
- Also available during regular Magic Kingdom hours: “A Frozen Holiday Surprise” (debuted in 2023)
