How the Burger King x Hello Kitty reports began
Images of a possible Burger King x Hello Kitty and Friends promotion began circulating on social media in mid-September. Food news account @mnmtwinz shared an early look at what appear to be collectible toys in blind-box packaging, and several outlets subsequently reported on promotional materials describing a U.S. campaign.
The reported dates do not agree. Some accounts and articles list Oct. 10 through Nov. 30, while another circulating post lists Oct. 20 through Nov. 30 and says the toys will accompany King Jr. Meals.

Images circulating online show six possible figures. The designs and lineup have not been confirmed by Burger King or Sanrio.

Not every image circulating with the reported promotion shows an actual product. One creator labeled a widely shared flyer featuring a pink meal box, branded food packaging and character toys as AI-made.
Why would Hello Kitty appear at Burger King so soon after McDonald’s?
The reported Burger King collection would follow McDonald’s Hello Kitty and Friends x Godzilla Happy Meal, which launched Aug. 18. While McDonald’s toys combined Sanrio characters with Godzilla monsters, the images circulating for Burger King show the Sanrio characters in a separate collection. Burger King has not confirmed the promotion.
