The last ‘ESPN The Weekend’ has been held – Disney has discontinued the springtime event
ESPN The Weekend has been held at Walt Disney World since 2004. The yearly event, mostly held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, had its last run this past March.

‘Room for One More’ special-ticket event to celebrate Disney’s Haunted Mansion
On Friday, Sept. 30, Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be transformed into an underworld party celebrating the Haunted Mansion ride at the Magic Kingdom. This limited-ticket special event costs $285 and will offer special guests, food, gifts and an auction.

Video: Imagineers give a behind the scenes look at building Fantasyland’s Little Mermaid ride
The One Man’s Dream exhibit at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be getting an update this week. Part of what guests will see is a video produced by Walt Disney Imagineering showing what’s being worked on currently in the parks, including the new Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom.

Arena presentations announced for D23 Expo – Celebrities and surprises expected

It’s an emotional evening as Flynn Rider bids fairwell to guests at Magic Kingdom – Video
Yesterday was an emotional one for Flynn Rider, Rapunzel and all the cast who help out at the Tangled play and greet experience at Magic Kingdom. Flynn made his last regular appearance in the Fairytale Garden with Rapunzel.

Harley-Davidson store moves into the West Side of Downtown Disney
The Harley-Davidson store at Downtown Disney has some new digs. The store has moved into the West Side in the spaces formerly occupied by LittleMissMatched and Mickey’s Grove. In addition to still selling all the items they have always carried, the new location brings some new features.

Catch the Harry Potter films back to back in Orlando
By Nick Lepa Harry Potter fans will be pleased to hear that AMC Theaters are hosting a back-to-back screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I and Part II on opening night, and select theaters will be showing all eight films over the course of four nights.
