First-ever Harry Potter broom popcorn bucket and Hogwarts Express collectible
Harry Potter fans have plenty to look forward to over the coming months. Ahead of all eight films returning to theaters for the franchise’s 25th anniversary, a new Hogwarts Express collectible has made an early appearance at San Diego Comic-Con.

The detailed collectible recreates the iconic red locomotive that carries Hogwarts students from Platform 9¾ to the Wizarding World, complete with gold accents and the engine’s recognizable silhouette. AMC has not yet announced pricing or an exact on-sale date. And it is unclear if the Hogwarts Express item will contain popcorn.
Eagle-eyed fans at San Diego Comic-Con may also notice what appears to be a broom displayed behind the Hogwarts Express bucket. While AMC has not announced any additional Harry Potter collectibles, the visible seam near the broom’s bristles has prompted speculation that it could be another concession item.

Perhaps it is a beverage container like the massive He-Man sword that appeared in theaters earlier this summer.
It turns out that it is a popcorn bucket! Steven Weintraub posted on X with a video of the two items. And at the end of the video, you will see a traditional popcorn bucket with Harry Potter graphics, including each of the Hogsmeade houses. Plus, there is a Gryffindor cup with robe, fabric scarf and striped straw.

The collectibles arrive as Warner Bros. celebrates the 25th anniversary of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.” All eight Harry Potter films will return to theaters from Aug. 27 through Sept. 3, with participating chains including AMC, Regal and Cinemark. Tickets go on sale July 31.
The popcorn bucket is also part of a larger resurgence for the Wizarding World. In addition to the theatrical re-release, Gaylord Texan Resort will debut an all-new “Harry Potter” ICE! experience during this year’s holiday season, marking the first time the beloved holiday attraction has been themed to the Wizarding World and giving fans another way to celebrate the franchise beyond the movie theater.
