Construction continues at Epcot for the upcoming Harmonious nighttime fireworks spectacular. Today, the first of five separate barges was placed in the center of World Showcase Lagoon. These massive barges are covered in spotlights, fountains, and LED screens. The Harmonious nighttime spectacular was originally supposed to debut in 2020, but is now backed up to 2021.[Read more…]
Just yesterday, it was announced that Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan will be opening in spring 2021 – but this delay seems to focus more so on the inability for many to travel instead of construction issues. In fact, the land looks almost ready to go right now. These photos, taken by The Sankei News, provide us great aerial visuals of this colorful new area.
There is no missing the work on the upcoming Tron Lightcycle / Run attraction in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. This launching roller coaster will be a near-exact copy of the original version in Shanghai Disneyland. But, unlike in Shanghai, we get to see this one load-up in front of our eyes.[Read more…]
Hong Kong Disneyland has had a bit of shaky summer with re-opening, closing and opening again. But, even with outside issues the park has continued work on their massive castle remodel, titled “Castle of Magical Dreams.” Thanks to Disney Magic Kingdom Blog, we are able to see the nearly finished product.
It has been over two months since we have gotten a good look at the construction progress on Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Japan. In that time they’ve added numerous new in-park effects that amplify the already fun and energetic land. Even though it hasn’t been announced yet, there is no missing the work on the “Velocicoaster” in the Jurassic Park area of Universal’s Islands of Adventure. The new faux rocks are sharp and aggressive, which matches the already “boulder” look of the coaster. Disney announced an update to the Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World back in February. Since then, hard work has been done and the update is now nearly complete.
