Top 10 YouTube videos in 2023
As we ring in 2024, we wanted to look back at the top 10 YouTube videos uploaded to our channel in 2023, which included several new coasters and a fair share of scares.
10. First Full POV Tron Lightcycle / Run Roller Coaster at Walt Disney World
The most highly-anticipated new roller coaster opening in 2023 was Tron Lightcycle / Run, which made its U.S. debut in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World on April 4, 2023.
9. Full Ceremony for Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood
Universal’s big grand opening in 2023 was the first U.S. version of Super Nintendo World, which opened at Universal Studios Hollywood on Feb. 17, 2023. The third (and largest) Super Nintendo World will be at Universal Epic Universe in Orlando, Fla. (expected to open in the Summer of 2025).
8. Test Riders on Pipeline Stand Up Roller Coaster at SeaWorld Orlando
The innovative Pipeline: The Surf Coaster at SeaWorld Orlando features unique surfboard-style ride vehicles that place riders in a standing position to mimic the sensation of riding a wave, but a few weeks before its official opening on May 27, 2023, we captured video of SeaWorld employees testing out the new thrill ride.

Just a few days after we caught the employee test ride from afar, Matt and Tharin had the chance to hang ten at the Pipeline media preview – and thanks to SeaWorld’s rider cam, we got their up close and personal reactions.
6. First Look at Endless Ocean Realm of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi – Guided Tour
We were invited to the grand opening of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, which opened on May 23, 2023. During the event, we were given a guided tour of the all-new One Ocean Realm, one of the park’s eight highly-themed areas.
5. The Last of Us Haunted House at Halloween Horror Nights Orlando 2023
We love Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort, and apparently so do you! Coming in at #5 of our top 10 YouTube videos is our walk-through of The Last of Us haunted house, the first Horror Nights house themed to a video game (but probably not the last).
4. Stranger Things 4 Haunted House at Halloween Horror Nights Orlando 2023
Just ahead of The Last of Us is our video walk-through of the Stranger Things 4 haunted house. These videos are popular every year, both for diehard Horror Nights fans who can’t wait to see what’s new and scaredy cats who don’t want to attend the event in person.
3. Catapult Falls, World’s First Launched Flume Coaster – Opens 2024 at SeaWorld San Antonio
All theme parks brag about their coasters being the longest, biggest, fastest, and first, so it’s no surprise that you all tuned in to see Catapult Falls, the world’s first launched flume coaster, which is scheduled to open in 2024 at SeaWorld San Antonio.
2. Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs POV at Hong Kong Disneyland
Disney’s first Frozen-themed land (World of Frozen) opened at Hong Kong Disneyland on Nov. 20, 2023, and features Disney’s first Frozen-themed coaster (Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs). Our video of the high-speed family coaster is the second most viewed video on our YouTube channel.
1. Falcon’s Flight Ride Vehicle Unveiling World’s Longest, Fastest, Tallest Roller Coaster
The most-viewed video on our YouTube channel in 2023 was not a ride-through or walk-through, but the reveal at IAAPA Expo 2023 of the ride vehicle for Falcon’s Flight at Six Flags Qiddiya, which will be the longest, tallest, and fastest roller coaster in the world.
