A possible ‘Toy Story 5’ popcorn bucket joins other movie theater collectibles
A new Buzz Lightyear popcorn bucket for “Toy Story 5” may have just surfaced online, giving Pixar fans an early look at what could become one of the next major movie theater collectibles.
Modern movie theater popcorn buckets are starting to rival theme park merchandise, and a newly surfaced “Toy Story 5 Buzz Lightyear” collectible may be the latest example.
Once again, social media strikes with a supposed leaked photo of a popcorn bucket before theaters make any official announcement. The possible Buzz Lightyear popcorn bucket for “Toy Story 5” is shown in two photos in an X post by @Alexis486054763. So far, no other sources, particularly any credible sources, have posted pictures of information.
It appears that this Buzz bucket may be coming to Cinemex in Mexico.

The supposed Buzz Lightyear popcorn bucket for “Toy Story 5” is the uppermost portion of the character’s suit. It appears that the popcorn itself would be contained in the chestplate and helmet area of the bust-like bucket.
Usually, once opening weekend has passed, AMC Theatres The Shop will have a collection of popcorn buckets available.

The popular Yoshi Bucket is still available, and “The Devil Wears Prada 2” popcorn handbag that sold out is available to order for a second run, which will ship on Aug. 30, 2026.
Surprisingly, nothing official from AMC, Regal, or other major movie theater companies has been announced, considering Disney has launched as “Blockbuster Summer” campaign.

The next big movie in theaters for The Walt Disney Company is the return of Star Wars to the big screen. So perhaps the company is focusing on “The Mandalorian and Grogu” movie theater collection first before they show off their next set of toys.
