Seven Universal Monsters toys are coming to Sonic Wacky Packs, with the new collection may have already arrived to select Sonic Drive-In locations.
Dracula is trading his crypt for a kids meal. A new Universal Monsters promotion features seven collectible toys for Sonic’s Wacky Pack, according to promotional material spotted on digital menu boards at Sonic restaurants.
For now, availability of the Universal Monsters toys appears to vary by location.
7 Universal Monsters toys coming to Sonic Wacky Packs
The new Sonic promotion includes seven Universal Monsters toys to collect, according to promotional material that has begun appearing on digital menu boards at select Sonic Drive-In locations.
Dracula is the only character Attractions Magazine has been able to independently confirm so far. The advertisement shows a cute, stylized version of the classic vampire with a black cape and fangs alongside a Sonic Wacky Pack meal and the words “7 toys to collect.”
The promotion appears to be arriving as Sonic wraps up its previous Wacky Pack toy collection. Sonic’s Hot Wheels Fast Foodies promotion was scheduled through Aug. 30, with seven Hot Wheels toys available during the promotion.
Sonic has not yet publicly revealed the complete Universal Monsters lineup.
The Universal Monsters have a history with kids meal toys. Burger King offered a Universal Monsters collection in 1997 featuring Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, the Wolf Man and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Nearly 30 years later, the characters are returning to the fast-food toy world with a very different, much cuter look.
Universal Monsters moments elsewhere
The Sonic toys arrive as Universal continues expanding the presence of its classic monsters across theme parks, collectibles and merchandise.
One of the biggest upcoming releases will come from Lego Ideas. In July 2026, a fan-designed Universal Monsters project by SpectralBricks officially passed Lego’s review process and was selected to become a future Lego Ideas set.
At Universal Epic Universe, the monsters have an entire land in Dark Universe, anchored by ‘Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment.’ The attraction brings guests into Frankenstein Manor and features Dracula, the Wolf Man, the Creature from the Black Lagoon and other Universal Monsters among its fourteen animated figures.
Universal is also selling an extensive collection of current Universal Monsters and Dark Universe merchandise, including Dracula, Bride of Frankenstein and Creature from the Black Lagoon plush, apparel and collectible figures.
For now, Dracula may be the only monster out of the crypt, but six more Sonic surprises are waiting in the shadows.
