Next year, Busch Gardens is bringing in some of the biggest names of Latin and rock music along with live music from the ’30s through the ’70s.
The Orlando Science Center has brought cutting-edge, state-of-the-art technology to its visitors in its new Digital Adventure Theater. Guests can see educational documentaries and Hollywood features all in stunning, immersive 3D and ultra high definition 4K resolution.
Franklin and Friends characters are joining the SeaWorld brand. Starting in January 2013, the new SeaWorld Kids brand and the Nelvana company will team up to introduce guests to Franklin characters, TV specials, books and merchandise.
Splitsville Luxury Lanes are now open. The new complex, in the former Virgin Megastore location, combines billiards, bowling, live entertainment, bars and dining. The upscale, retro-style bowling venue is the largest in the bowling brand’s fleet and joins other fun, family-friendly entertainment options in Downtown Disney West Side.
This holiday season, Busch Gardens set out to create the newest tradition for Tampa families and now the park is adding even more holiday cheer to its calendar. To respond to enthusiastic consumer demand, Christmas Town has added an extra night and will now be open on Thursday, Dec. 20 from 6 to 11 p.m….
Universal Orlando Resort recently celebrated the five-millionth Butterbeer served within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. One thousand guests were given complimentary Butterbeers to mark the moment, with many of them sporting “Butterbeer mustaches.”
This past weekend, 18-year-old Justin Bieber headlined the sold out 933 FLZ Jingle Ball, a four-hour music palooza of what’s new and what’s hot. The concert also included performances by Ke$ha, Ed Sheeran, One Republic and others at a sold-out Tampa Bay Times Forum.
The largest expansion in Magic Kingdom’s history, New Fantasyland, is officially open. After five years of development and construction, the expansion adds a new dark ride, restaurant, tavern and unique meet and greet experiences.
There have been a few dragon spottings around Walt Disney World this month and it seems as if this dragon may be making an appearance at the New Fantasyland opening on next Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012.
