Celebrate Independence Day at Universal Orlando Resort

Universal Orlando Resort is throwing a Fourth of July celebration to remember, with live music, character meet and greets, and a nighttime pyrotechnics spectacular.

Red, white, and blue décor signals the start of the festivities on July 4, 2022,, setting a patriotic tone in Universal Studios’ Music Plaza, where a live DJ and high-energy band crank the party into high gear.

Guests can meet and greet a variety of Universal’s most popular characters, enjoy patriotic-themed performers and live stilt walkers, and revel in an epic day celebrating the birth of American independence.

Throughout the day and into the evening, rock out to hit songs on Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster, join Optimus Prime and Bumblebee in a high-paced battle on Transformers: The Ride – 3D, and stake out a viewing spot for Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration nighttime pyrotechnics, water, and light show set to scores from blockbuster movies.

Then, at 9 p.m., the grand finale pyrotechnics display takes place, and can be viewed across the park.

The festivities run from 5 p.m. through park closing, and are free with park admission.

Universal Studios Hollywood will also honor Independence Day with a celebration lasting from July 2-4, 2022.
