ArieForce One relocation was teased before Fun Spot confirmed sale
Back in August, the future of ArieForce One remained uncertain as Fun Spot America prepared to close its Atlanta park. Comments from Fun Spot America CEO John Arie Jr., however, offered an early indication that the acclaimed Rocky Mountain Construction coaster could eventually operate somewhere else.

Sept. 3, 2026 update: Fun Spot America has confirmed that ArieForce One has been sold.
The company revealed the news Thursday in a social media video featuring Fun Spot America CEO John Arie Jr. holding an ArieForce One-branded shovel. “ArieForce One has SOLD!!!” appears on screen before Fun Spot asks viewers to “drop your guesses” about what comes next.
Arie had previously indicated that Fun Spot was working to find a new home for the coaster. Thursday’s announcement is the first confirmation that a sale has been completed.

August 2, 2026, Fun Spot Atlanta opened and welcomed guests for the final time. Many coaster enthusiasts flocked to the amusement park for one last ride aboard ArieForce One. And many shared their experience on social media. But one video in particular is getting lots of attention.
The video, shared by Thrills_R_Us on X, appears to show Arie speaking with enthusiasts during the park’s final day. While Fun Spot America has not officially confirmed the speaker’s identity, the man believed to be Arie is on the ride’s public address system as the coaster prepares to launch from its station.
“It’s not going to be your last ride on ArieForce One. Many of y’all want to keep it the name ArieForce One… I mean, why would you want to rename it? It’s a great theme.”
Although he never explicitly says the coaster has been sold, many enthusiasts interpreted his comments as an indication that ArieForce One will operate again elsewhere.
Coaster enthusiasts think the sale is already done
The comment quickly spread across the coaster community, with many taking Arie’s apparent confidence as a sign that the ride has a future beyond Georgia.

The “Great Adventure” comment references ongoing fan speculation that Six Flags Great Adventure could be a potential destination, though there is no evidence or official announcement supporting that rumor.
Fun Spot has not announced ArieForce One’s future
When Fun Spot America announced the permanent closure of its Atlanta park, the company did not reveal what would happen to ArieForce One. The acclaimed Rocky Mountain Construction coaster, which opened in 2023, was notably absent from the closure announcement despite being the park’s signature attraction.

Originally opened as Dixieland Fun Park, the Fayetteville property was acquired by Fun Spot America in 2017 before receiving several additions, including the debut of Air Force One in 2023.
