New Silver Dollar City festival brings 1,000 live performances and comfort cooking
Branson, Mo. — Silver Dollar City is turning up the country music and setting the table for a new spring festival featuring more than 1,000 live performances, three headlining concerts and a menu filled with Southern comfort food.
Country Music & Comfort Cooking runs April 1-May 3, 2027, with recurring shows and musical sets spread across stages throughout the theme park. Easton Corbin, Lonestar and Diamond Rio will headline separate nights in Echo Hollow Amphitheatre, while other performers keep the music playing around the park.
The food follows the same down-home theme. Festival menus include chicken and waffles, Nashville hot macaroni and cheese, biscuits and gravy, fruit cobblers and chocolate gravy. A new dining and dance hall will combine live bands, line dancing and food under one roof.
The announcement occurred during the 2026 Fan Fest held on Saturday, Sept. 19.

“We are about authenticity of people, place and story,” Merrill Puckett Miller, chief creative officer for Herschend Creative Studios, told Attractions Magazine. “That is really the Herschend philosophy.”
Silver Dollar City’s 1,000-plus performances
Silver Dollar City has not released a complete schedule or explained how the more than 1,000 performances will be divided among its venues. Announced entertainment includes theatrical productions, musical groups, live bands and three headlining concerts.

The Opera House will present “On Air: A History of Country Music,” a new 45-minute show staged as a live broadcast. A cast of singers and dancers, joined by a live house band, will explore decades of music associated with performers including Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, George Strait and Alabama.
The Honky Tonk Chicks will bring three-part harmonies and choreography inspired by the queens of country music to the Riverfront Playhouse. Arbour Season, the Massengale Brothers and Seth Darby are also among the announced performers.
The festival’s three headlining concerts take place in Echo Hollow Amphitheatre.

Comfort cooking comes with live music and line dancing
Red Gold Heritage Hall will house the new Silver Dollar Dining & Dance Hall, featuring live bands, line dancing and festival dishes. Announced selections include chicken and waffles, Nashville hot macaroni and cheese, Southern biscuits and gravy, fruit cobblers and chocolate gravy.

Vinings Grand Gardens will provide another dining location in The Plaza. Ladle’s Hash House will serve fried chicken and slaw, while Flanders Famed Fare will offer specialty-flavored sweet teas and lemonades.
With music filling the stages and comfort food filling the plates, Silver Dollar City’s new spring festival will serve up some country by the heaping helping.
