Fantasia shop from Harry Styles’ Pleasing brand opening at Disney Springs’ former NBA Experience for limited time
The Pleasing Disney collection from Harry Styles’ brand is available at Disney Springs in the building formerly occupied by NBA Experience.
Disney Fantasia x Pleasing
Pleasing, Harry Styles’ brand, is launching a new merchandise collection under the banner of “Disney Fantasia x Pleasing” and opening a pop-up shop at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World near Orlando, Fla. to celebrate. The store will be located in a section of the former NBA Experience in Disney Springs’ West Side, near Cirque du Soleil.
The Disney Fantasia x Pleasing Shop will be open daily at Disney Springs from Sept. 28 – Oct. 27, 2024, 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Pleasing’s Disney merchandise collection features 30 items, from apparel to beauty products, depicting characters from the 1940 Disney classic “Fantasia,” including Mickey Mouse in his “Sorcerer’s Apprentice” fit.
Pleasing says the Disney shop will contain “real-life translations of archival art into 3-D collaboration animations and moving visuals for a magical shopping experience that’s unlike any other.”
The collection will be available on Pleasing.com and DisneyStore.com beginning Oct. 4.
The Fantasia x Pleasing merchandise will also be available in person at Disney Store Times Square in New York and The Galleria in Houston, Texas starting Sept. 28, as well as Disney Store Oxford Street in London starting Sept. 29.
From NBA to Harry Styles
After being in development for over five years, the NBA Experience opened at Disney Springs in 2019, operated for less than seven months, closed due to the pandemic, and never reopened. Prior to NBA, the real estate belonged to the DisneyQuest interactive gaming attraction (though the DisneyQuest building was completely demolished to build the NBA facility).
The former NBA building has since become something of an unintentional flex space for temporary tenants, such as a “Star Wars” VR attraction in 2022 and now the Disney Fantasia x Pleasing Shop.
