The Land of Oz playground, part of the upcoming Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival (March 6-May 19, 2013) has opened early with some some carnival-type games and more.
Earlier today, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment announced an addition to the parks, “Madagascar Live! Operation: Vacation,” will be an original live musical show featuring the characters from DreamWorks Animation’s Madagascar franchise. The show will debut this Summer at both Busch Gardens Tampa and SeaWorld San Diego.
Disney has announced that its live-action release previously known as 1952 will be titled “Tomorrowland”. The film is set to be released on Dec. 19, 2014 and George Clooney (The Descendants) is set to star.
Disney has announced a new interactive adventure game entitled Wilderness Explorers, coming this spring to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The game is based around the Disney•Pixar film Up and will have guests complete missions to earn badges just like Russell did in the film.
The 20th annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will be taking place from March 6 through May 19, 2013. Throughout the 75-day garden party, guests will encounter new topiaries, garden displays, a butterfly house, seminars by HGTV celebrity designers, performances from rockers from the ’60s and ’70s and much more.

Universal Orlando Resort recently celebrated the five-millionth Butterbeer served within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. One thousand guests were given complimentary Butterbeers to mark the moment, with many of them sporting “Butterbeer mustaches.”
Construction continues on the recently announced Transformers: The Ride attraction and the former Jaws area, rumored to be a Wizarding World of Harry Potter London area including a Grignotts Bank roller coaster, at Universal Studios Florida. The largest expansion in Magic Kingdom’s history, New Fantasyland, is officially open. After five years of development and construction, the expansion adds a new dark ride, restaurant, tavern and unique meet and greet experiences.
Magic Kingdom guests can now journey ‘Under the Sea’ with the Little Mermaid herself, complete with characters and songs from the Academy Award-winning Disney animated motion picture “The Little Mermaid” in “Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid” in New Fantasyland.
