Even though Toontown got an extra year beyond its rumored closing last January, it’s finally closing for good in February to make room for the Fantasyland expansion. The last day to visit Toontown and its many attractions will be Feb. 11, 2011.
Four popular singers were recorded today at the Magic Kingdom, giving their performances on Cinderella Castle stage, then later posing with Disney characters. The segments are part of the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade, which will air Christmas morning on ABC-TV. On hand were Jackie Evancho, Lee DeWyze, Sean Kingston and Darius Rucker.
Day two of shooting the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade brought out the biggest stars of the show as a couple of stage performances and the actual parade portion were filmed.
