If you haven’t yet figured out, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is going to be huge. This incredible land will be part of the largest expansion in Disney Parks history. Two new attractions, numerous shopping and dining areas, and character meet and greets are all expected.

Disney now has trees or construction walls blocking most of the work area. But, from certain angles you can still see the construction progress from in the park.

This tunnel will be one of the two entrances into Galaxy’s Edge upon completion. The trees atop the hill have made it nearly impossible to see the construction progress from Grand Avenue. This entrance will be much like entering Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida. The harsh turns will cause guests to have a grand reveal, and it will help hide Galaxy’s Edge from the rest of the park.

This overview really helps to showcase the entirety of Galaxy’s Edge. The main show building on the left will be the Battle Escape attraction where guests will be in the middle of fight against the First Order onboard a Star Destroyer. The show building on the right, with the tall spires, will feature the Millennium Falcon attraction. It will also house a 1:1 scale model of the Millennium Falcon that guests can take a tour of. The trees lining the bottom of the photo are next to the Toy Story Midway Mania attraction, and the upcoming Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway ride.

The Battle Escape attraction will be one of, if not the most, highly-advanced trackless ride systems on Earth. Guests will witness massive sets on an escape style mission against the First Order. There will also be massive AT-AT Walkers during some part of the attraction.

The Millennium Falcon attraction will be a choose-your-adventure type simulator. Imagine the world’s coolest video game, where you fly one of the most iconic ships throughout space. Sound fun? Well it certainly should be!

These new structures will be closer to the Toy Story Land entrance. The large domed building in the first shot will most likely be a large eatery. It closely lines up with the land model that guests can view in the Walt Disney Presents attraction. The other buildings are likely to be shops or places to engage in character meet and greets.

Zooming out over Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it’s possible to see the current secondary entrance to the park. The new area of land clearing on the right is highly rumored to be the location of the Star Wars themed hotel. On the top left is the newest area of parking lot expansion. This new area will definitely be utilized this upcoming summer with the opening of Toy Story Land. In comparison to the tiny dots of cars driving by, it is clear to see that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be a monumental new area.
