Central Florida’s many theme parks will light the night skies July 4, 2012 with special pyrotechnic shows, including a patriotic display at Magic Kingdom, a rock’n’roll spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Red, Brick and Boom at Legoland Florida and more.
Central Florida’s theme parks will be crowded on the Fourth of July. In fact, Orlando was named the number one destination for the July 4 Weekend by Travelocity. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun watching the special events and fireworks shows. Here’s what each theme park is planning for Independence Day.
“A Flashback 4th of July” will send the town of Celebration back in time to the ’80s and feature a costume contest, a concert by A Flock of Seagulls, a fireworks show set to ’80s musical hits, and an interactive Kids Zone. Additional music will be offered by KattyShack and the Dixieland Jazz Band.
Many of Orlando’s theme parks have announced their fireworks shows for July 4, 2010. It’s one of the busiest days of the year for the theme parks so be prepared to join a crowd.
