Walt Disney World is starting their Limited Time Magic promotion with a week of New Year’s parties in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom. Starting Dec. 30, 2012, kids of all ages can celebrate 2013 as they “Bling in the New Year”.

Long-time theme park performer and show developer Ron Scheider has released an autobiography. Entitled, From Dreamer to Dreamfinder: A Life and Lessons Learned in 40 Years Behind a Name Tag, the book is currently available in paperback and ebook formats from all major retailers.

Walt Disney World is moving ahead with their plans to make it easier for guests to enter their parks and make purchases with the roll out of RFID readers all across their property. The readers have appeared at various retail locations and will be used at all four Disney World theme parks starting this week.
The largest expansion in Magic Kingdom’s history, New Fantasyland, is officially open. After five years of development and construction, the expansion adds a new dark ride, restaurant, tavern and unique meet and greet experiences.
