The “tale as old as time” is being told on the high seas in a totally new way, as the Disney Dream has debuted its new Beauty and the Beast musical production, inspired by the live-action remake of Disney’s animated classic.
Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede Dinner Attraction will receive a festive overlay for the holidays, complete with all the sights and sounds of Christmas – including a full-scale living Nativity, holiday décor, a four-course feast and Santa Claus himself. Dixie Stampede’s Holiday Adventure will debut on Nov. 1 and run through Jan. 2, 2018.
While I personally didn’t know much about Miami Sound Machine or Gloria Estefan’s music, my mother grew up with them as pretty much her life’s soundtrack in Miami. My grandmother even went to high school with Gloria. So we have pretty different views of “On Your Feet!”

In “Disenchanted”, you’ll find out how the original princesses, made popular by Disney, really feel about how they’ve been portrayed. Spoiler alert! They’re none too happy. As they get a few things off their chest, you’ll be laughing along.
The sequel to the biggest musical of all time, some current top award-winning hits, and a few old favorites are coming to Florida with the newly announced 2017-2018 Fairwinds Broadway in Orlando season, with the mega-hit Hamilton arriving in 2018-2019.

“An American in Paris” is a graceful musical filled with art, ballet and romance. The story is a bit cliché, but it’s otherwise a beautiful production.
