We now have the official full haunted house and entertainment lineup for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort.
With a prevalent 80s theme throughout, guests will definitely feel a wave of nostalgia alongside their fear at this year’s event. This year not only will host more haunted houses than ever before, but also more dates – making this year’s event the longest HHN in history with a total of 36 nights.
Check out our breakdown of this year’s event:
Step into the Upside Down as you venture through the world of Netflix’s “Stranger Things.” But beware – the Demogorgon is on the move.
Spirits have taken over the house atop a cemetery, and guests will be lured inside by the glow of the TV. Try not to get lost in the light, and face off against the Beast.
Evil has returned in an all-new house. Michael Myers has escaped and he’s around every turn. Dr. Loomis might be your only hope, but will he save you?
Blumhouse’s “Happy Death Day” and “The First Purge” come to life in this horror house.
You have to play by the rules of Halloween or pay the price with your life. Sam, the vengeful trick-or-treater, awaits those who break the rules in five twisted stories from “Trick ‘r Treat.”
A ghoulish plague has broken out in Paris as the public turns into zombies. You’ll be lost in the dark, but the zombies can still see you.
Something sinister is waiting in the decay of classic carnivals of yesteryear. Step into this salvage yard, where a maze of carnival rides tainted with blood await.
At this local drive-in, you don’t catch the movie – the movie catches you. See three 80s B-movies come to life in this terrifying triple feature.
Humanity is extinct, and something evil has taken root in its place. These plants are predatory, and fear is fertile in this garden.
See your favorite fairytales take on a terrifying twist as the Wicked Witch of the West takes control with a curse. There are no fairytale endings here.
Chucky has brought a toy fair to life on the streets of Hollywood and turned your childhood playthings into nightmares.
An interstellar circus tent has landed on South Street, but the joke is on you as otherworldly clowns threaten to turn you into cotton candy and devour you whole.
New Year’s Eve, 1984 – A blood-sucking DJ counts down to 1985 as fanged punks hunt down partygoers. When the year ends, so will you.
An ancient evil is now awake in Central Park and has turned Halloween into an abomination. Vines and rotting pumpkins are everywhere, and the larger pumpkins hold human victims – combining their flesh with pumpkin guts.
An old barn is the setting for this horror show, with its walls decorated with objects from each house. This photo-op zone will be located along the Avenue of the Stars, but isn’t as abandoned as it seems.
Set in a dark and distant city of the future, Academy of Villains is back, this time in the Fear Factor Live theater for a mix of dance, acrobatics, and theatrics.
Halloween Horror Nights begins on Sept. 14, and runs on select nights through Nov. 3 at Universal Orlando Resort. To learn more about this year’s event, and to purchase tickets, visit Orlando.HalloweenHorrorNights.com.
